Our students not only become bicultural, but become bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English, two of the most widely spoken languages in the world.
Our Model
NVLA is one of approximately 1,000 schools in the US that offers the Two-way Immersion instructional model. Using our research-backed 90-10 model, students start out fully immersed in Spanish and gradually become introduced to English over the course of their elementary education. By 4th grade the day is evenly divided between Spanish and English instruction. This model allows for English language learners and native English speaking students to develop their dual-language skills and reach fluency in both languages by 6th grade.
